Middle Age Matters

Signs of Aging Cartoon

For some people aging is a gradual process, but in my case it happened in a single moment.  It was a Thursday morning, to be precise.  I had just stepped out of the shower, when I casually glanced in the mirror and there,  firmly attached to my own body, were my MOTHER'S knees!  I have no idea how they got there but it really doesn't matter.  The point is, ever since then, my body has been revolting (in more ways than one).

I don't know about you, but I find this whole business of getting older to be completely unnerving.  In my case anyway, those "little signs of aging" are about as subtle as the billboards in Times Square, and try as I may, I can't seem to stall, much less reverse the effects.  Denial is futile and frankly, takes too much energy.  All I can do is use this particular section of my website to rant about it now and then, you know, just to get things off my chest (which, by the way, isn't holding up too well either.)
