On the Home Front

If I had to come up with a definition for the word "Home" here is what it would be:  "Home is the place where, when the electricity goes out, you can still find your way to the bathroom in the dark without barking your shins a single time."  To me, home is a person, place and thing, all at the same time.  In my case at least, it's the only square footage on the planet where my wedding photos, my makeup sponges and my dust-collecting elliptical machine coexist in mutual harmony.

In this feature of my website I'll be writing about the care and feeding of a home, and that includes everything from chores and gardening to remodeling and entertaining.  Of course now and then something totally disconnected to that logical group of topics may creep in unexpectedly, but when you get right down to it, isn't that pretty much the way it is in real life too?  So if you've got a hankerin' for a place where you can plop down in a comfy chair and put your feet on the coffee table, come on in and make yourself at home.
